Berlin, 3 February 2020– Germany’s exclusive trade fair for the bus sector, the only one of its kind, will arouse even more interest in 2021. BUS2BUS, Tuesday 13 to Thursday 15 April 2021, now has a new home, hub27. Opened as recently as August 2019, Messe Berlin’s new premium venue is a multi-purpose, ultra-spacious building. With an area of 10,000 square metres, hub27 has everything that an event like BUS2BUS could need: State-of-the-art technology, a flexible floor plan and a roof terrace that can be used for displays. The pillar-less congress and event hall with its mobile partitions and a variety of alternative spatial arrangements is also very convenient and within easy walking distance of the Messe Süd S Bahn station. According to Kerstin Kube-Erkens, Senior Product Manager for BUS2BUS, “hub27 is the perfect place for our trade fair, where the future takes priority.”
United in change: bdo Congress and Future Forum on one stage
Since its debut in 2017 BUS2BUS has been almost unique as an event for interconnecting established concepts and new ideas in the bus sector. And this up-to-date meeting place for the industry goes one step further: For the first time the Future Forum and bdo Congress are combining on one stage, as evidence of the close links between innovation, visionary ideas, best practice, politics and the media. Leading international speakers from business, politics, research and product development will inspire listeners and impart some important ideas. Kube-Erkens welcomes the symbiosis: “Interactive formats will introduce issues of imminent importance to the Future Forum stage. At the same time ‘BUS2Explore’ will provide special formats as a practical and performance-based way of establishing how various aspects relate to reality”, she stated.
Key players in the industry have already made their reservations
Kerstin Kube-Erkens can report even more successes, underlining the growing popularity of BUS2BUS: There has been a very good response to the FirstMover offer. Once again leading names will be represented, such as MAN TRUCK & BUS Deutschland GmbH, VDL Bus& Coach Deutschland GmbH, Iveco Magirus AG, ZF Friedrichshafen AG and Alexander Dennis Limited. “We are delighted that applications to attend have again been received from prominent national and international manufacturers as well as new and innovative companies from every sector. As a business platform that is open to all technological ideas we are once again eager to see what new developments can be experienced here.”, says Kube-Erkens.
With over one year to go before the start of this trade fair booking levels are already very high, from exhibitors in the areas of buses, components & accessories, comfort & design, digital services, maintenance, services, infrastructure and media & associations. For anyone interested in exhibiting at BUS2BUS an Early Bird rateis available until 31 October 2020.
